So im also torn between getting Cosi cams or GSCs. Havent seen any dyno results lately for either Cosworth or Gsc.. Looking to see which ones make more power. Please post your dyno results

Hard to see something when you don't look...

why go cosi if you have to ? i've got the S1's, 2 buddies of mine have the S-1's. One just went to the dyno today and put down over 370 to the wheels... up from 330 or 340. ... a 40HP jump from cams and getting them tuned. He also put down more HP then the guy with the same mods and the cosi's.

Here, i found his thread.

There hasnt been alot of Cosworth dyno sheets to be able to compare to the S1s. The guy that has the fastest stock turbo in Puerto Rico that ran 11.3@ 122 has the Cosi cams. He said that he ran 11.6@ 117 and ran 11.3@122 and was done was add the cams and retune, nothing more.

im sure there are plenty of dyno sheets on the cosi's around here.. .they have been out longer than the s-1's as well. There should be no reason to not have numbers posted. The biggest thing i see that is important here is that there were too pretty identical ix's on the same dyno, roughly about the same time. Difference being the cams, and one was about 10-15 whp less than the other one. Also, with the S1's, you dont have to upgrade valvetrain

Well that whp difference could be attributed to anything. Ex; tune, mods, a/f, boost etc..

anything but the cams right ? lol.... with this way of thinking, the only way to compare the 2 is run the same tuner on the same car and swap cams. Then somehow dyno with the exact same temps and setting on the same day at similar times. Unfortunately it is next to impossible to do that type of comparitive testing. My point was, same dyno, same mods minus cams and 15 hp difference. It wasnt like the guy wasnt tuned for the cosi's. Even if the tune could be better, he wouldnt see more than 15 more HP. So for price comparison, cosi's to s1's, the s1's win because you dont need to upgrade valvetrain ? and put down the same power ? if not more or just as much or however you want to word it.

I dont mean to get in a discussion about all of this, my point was to negate the post made saying get the cosi's because they are the best

Yea that kinda testing is impossible unless you have to Evo owners willing to do what you said on the same day, same tune, same mods. I just wana see Cosi dyno sheets of before and after

who tuned that ? your TQ falls of fast.....

Yeah, that testing would be hard and next to impossible. Before and after numbers probably are the only way.... as for the link i posted, that is same mods, same boost, same dyno, only difference is the cams. that was a 40+ hp difference and about the same in TQ. Not bad at all.
