Pics of my dead stock clutch/flywheel

My stock clutch finally let go @ the 18k mile point. I drove carefully on it for about a week before I got everything together I needed for the replacement. The flywheel surface is nice and shiny with some noticeable warpage. When I pulled the starter out, I got hit with a huge pile of clutch fiber and dust. Total time spent on the replacement was 7 hrs. I threw in my FSB while I was at it.

I wasn't too hard on it. I had 5 autox events on it, never really launched other than those times. I think it was the excess of 400ft/lbs of torque I've been throwing at it the past month or so. It let go in the middle of an attempted 4th gear data log pull.

Not really. I think most of the damage was while I was limping around waiting for the parts to come in. It was slipping pretty bad the past 2 days, which probably caused most of the warping and hotspots.

Wow, it looks strikingly similar to the last 1287 units we have removed from Evos in the southeast.

This is the first one the shop by my house has seen, since there are only 3 other evo's in this area.

It's not my fault you guys are all the way down in Florida. I told my wife that we're going to have to move just so I can use your shop everyday.
