Dyno#s with Cosworth cams and camgear settings!!

Well as i promised.. Went to CFT today and dynoed the car.. This is a MUSTANG DYNO... It reads 5-6% lower than a dynojet. Cars that have dynoed what i made have trapped 118-119...It was 102 DEGREES in the dyno bay!!!! Mods are in my sig and this was on 93 oct.. There was NO Ecu tuning on the dyno, this is how it was tuned on the street

First run the car made 332.3whp and 333.1wtq@ 24.xx psi spike with a -4 degree timing on the exhaust cam gear

Second run the car made 326.2whp and 333.5wtq@24.xx psi spike also at -4 degree cam gear setting.

Third run the car made 342.1whp and 351.2wtq@24.xx psi spike at -2 degree cam gear setting. Looks like this made a BIG difference!!

Fourth run the car made 340.7whp and 346.3wtq@24.xx psi spike also at -2 degree cam setting and i just left it at that..

I will post dyno sheets tomorrow guys..Im very happy with the results on pump gas. The guys at CFT were very impressed with the car. Last week i ran a Evo VIII that trapped 116 and i pulled 3 cars on him..

Oh ok, looks like you had positive results I may try this out on my car hopefully I'll have similar results on a 35R.

It seems these cams are hit or miss. You surely hit. It appears you got great results on the mustang dyno. The joy of having MIVEC. I have similar mods to you and can't get those #'s on a dynojet.

This is pretty interesting. I was considering doing a cam gear but I havent seen any results. This looks very promising

Awesome numbers Miguel!

Most powerful car by far out of your 3 Evos! I'm sure you're psyched. Them IX's are strong.
