Then what exactly is included in the often quoted $200 rebuild cost of that Tilton clutch?

it's really a toss up between Carbonetics & Tilton IMO. i guess u need to do 2 things:

1) ask urself "how fast do u really wanna go?"
2) follow the carmod motto- Cheap, Fast, Reliable. Pick 2

Thats good, I haven't seen that # 2 before. Its very true in most instances.
Keep in mind expensive doesn't necessarily mean faster or more reliable.

I have a question for any body that has driven the carbonetics triple.
How is the drivability? I am presuming the pedal pressure is similar or the same as the twin since it looks like they use the same rated pressure plates. Or am I wrong?
I ask cause I can be pretty hard on my clutches on launches while autocrossing and I am willing to spend the extra for extra friction surface area of the triple for the extra security if it doesn't kill the drivability.
I would buy the tilton carbon if they made it for the six speed evo trans, but no such luck and no reply from tilton to e-mails on the subject.

I will be running a tilton in my 1G with the hydraulic bearing. I did a ton of research and I found the tilton to be the best clutch. It is very expensive but for me worth the money. If I ever replace my exedy in my evo I wil put a tilton in it too.
