Bent valves need to replace. Which?
my tensioner took the plunge and timing skipped 6 teeth.
the cam doesn't even touch the hydraulic lifter
i gotta change the whole intake side, and won't know for the exhaust side till
we pull the head off. My mechanic doing that today...
I just want to change all 16valves.
Any recommendations?
I have supertech dual VS and TI retainers already.
do i go 1mm oversize valves? or keep stock size?
I'm not porting the head. Will I see any benefit with 1mm over?
or do you recommend stay with stock size?
and dumb question, but can i use ferrea valves with my super tech valvetrain?
AMS has only Supertech 1mm over on their website.
Lancer shop has Ferrea std or 1mm over.
I gotta order these soon. It is my only car. Thanks for the help.

well searching around...I found std sized and 1mm oversize for both brands.
Can i still use the stock guides?
I won't get a complete parts checklist till I pull the head, but need help selecting some things to speed up the process.

can't really help with your questions since I have zero first hand knowledge on which valves are better. But I would like to know how many miles you had on your tensioner if you don't mind sharing.

60k..reused it on from the first time lifting the head off.
more stress because of racing and power...
my first choice is standard supertech ones. These are fine right?

There is no advantage to running a 1mm valve if you aren't doing any porting behind it. You are only adding additional mass to the valvetrain.
If you bent valves then you certainly need the guides to be checked.

the head is off, just send your head in as a core to buschur & get their ported head if they have 1 on teh shelf. you know your gettting good stuff.
i would bet that you have ding'd up some seats & cracked a guide or 2, so you will most likely need some repair work done.
