Recommended boost level for a IX with basic mods.

I'm about to pick up a boost controller and would just like a general opinion on what people are running and what they recommend running with their basic mods. It would be great if someone could chime in that has something similar, if not exact with what I am running.

Evo IX
Cat-Back Exhaust
Drop-in Filter
Basic Flash

I would like to run 23 pounds, but I'm really not sure if that is pushing it or not. 22 would do just fine; I would really just like to eliminate boost drop-off that is notorious with the stock boost level and no boost controller.

Remember, this is WITHOUT an upgraded fuel pump...just wanted to turn the wick up a little bit without any side effects; just for a little more fun until I have the time to install my fuel pump.

Cheers!

Did you talk to your tuner about what boost you should run? Your mods say your flashed so best thing would be to talk to your tuner

Run 22.5 on 93 octane. I'd stop there.

93 Octane, and it is just a basic flash and he said that when it came time to get a boost controller I could up the boost and the tune would still be fine for a few pounds of added boost.

You can run 23 no problem, i'd suggest a walbro to keep your IDC's down otherwise the stock IX fp is fine at that boost level.
