I have had my Buddy Club cams for about 2 years and 7500 miles. I have had no problems, car runs very strong. Thanks for the heads up.

I had over 25,000 miles on those cams...I think I will try the GSC S1 cams, they sound good for the stock turbo....I hope they last longer than 25K miles!

i used to work for buddy club and this is not something we heard a lot about. while i was there we only had one problem with some cams off a b16 engine, but come to find out the head was warped and the cams didn't sit in level. other than that, no problems. sucks that you had that happen, but give the office a call and talk to albert. the guys there are really nice and will try and help you out as much as they can. they'll probably ask you to send in pics via email so have those ready.

good luck and i hope all works out for you.

Thanks Geekmonster,
I am not looking for anything from Buddy Club, merely letting others know my experience. The cam in question may have suffered from a problem during the hardening process. Anyway I've replaced them with GSC S1's which work very well with my street set-up. -John

I heard the crower cams are the shiznit. Make great power and you can get both cams and a valvetrain kit for $500.

i knew that buddy club had some 280 in/exh, but the other day i was looking at their website and saw that they just came out with some 290 in/exh. that would be interesting to see a evo with those in.
