Cams with no tune makes the car run lean right? I dont have a tune yet but it's coming soon. I decided to give the car some gas and see what the air/fuel gauge says. I lowered the boost to bout 1.3-1.4 bar. At WOT, my AEM uego says average 10.9. Will be car be Ok until I get tuned??

 

With the S1 in my car I went about .5 rich. Did you say your running 10.9 with cams and no tune? If so you richened up aswell

 

Well, I have dynoflash from before. Is it Ok to floor my car? or I still have to babie it until I get a custom tune? I'm running the gsc s1's also.

 

just babie it to be safe.....You might damage something else in the mean time and then hunting that down is harder. How far away is this tune?

 

hopefully this month. There's a post on Al's tuning trip to new orleans, but Nobody is getting a certain date set. I'm voting for asap but who knows. =/

Where's the closest place to go for tuning? I live in south mississippi and the closest good place to go is top speed in atlanta. Where's mellontuning at?

 

I went from 11.3 AFR @ 25 PSI peak to 10.7 AFR @21 PSI peak. Just by swapping the cams. No other changes!

After bringing the MBC to ~25 PSI peak, the AFR went to ~11.0. On the tuning side, the peak load cells were landing differently and had to do some fine tuning to get it close enough to 0-3 knocks and 11.2-11.3 AFR.

 

I would get that tuned ASAP. purevo werent u one of the people going to the tune in New orleans? What ever happened with that?
