what happend

what happend

i went to the drag strip last night and on my final run i hit fourth then all my power went away. I thought i popped a clamp off so i looked and they are all still in place. It runs fine until you try to spool then you hear a loud surge.

did i pop my stock plastic bov?

or what happend.

car is an 05 8 with bolt ons

Do you have the stock air snorkle still wit the stock box.

If so are the two push clips holding it to the rad support still there if not this is your problem. At speed that snorkel will lift and choke up the air flow

Why do people post when they have only bad info...

Check that snorkle. If not boost leak test and check the turbo play.

i dont have the snorkel anymore, and i checked all ic pipes.

i got a new bov and installed it and still the same noise its hard to explain but ill try. it sound like tssssssst

yes it build boost but it deosnt pull any harder when it does it just makes that sound

If you have aftermarket IC pipes with silicone couplers... make sure you didn't do this to one. My clamps were still on too. Even made boost still, just ran rich as a pig and hissed like a dragon.
PS: Buschurs couplers are thin pofs garbage!
