AFC/EBC vs ECU REFLASH
which is a better, having an AFC /EBC or getting the ecu reflashed? Im not done modding and dont wanna keep sending the ecu to be reflashed....
or can you do both....?
or is a UTEC/XEDE a better alternative to bother? or can you use all 4(im guessing pointless w/ecu reflashes and an exede)... whats the deal?

Kinda depends on how far you wanna go with the modding.. What is your goal for the car? A mid 12 sec car is very mean on the roadways and easy to accomplish with the afc/ebc..
Can any electronic MOD (S-AFC/AVC,etc.) aside from a new ECU raise the rev limiter? The one thing I like about the WORKS reflash is they have the revs to max at 7850. This, combined with MODS will make a very good track ride, since I think our EVOs have the fuel cut at around 7300RPM.

i looking to have a mid 11 second car.... I am doing the Jun 264 cams/gears next, then a larger IC(AMS?)... and eventually plan a larger turbo(which would require a new ecu).

Well all I can say is that Al Friedman is doing AWESOME with his E-Manage setup.. That SEEMS to be pretty much the best thing out there as far as tuning goes.. A lot of people are doing very well with that system...
