I had the exact same symptoms, pull that Greddy off and look inside. For most people it's about a 5 minute job. I think it's intermittent because the seal is only open sometimes the rubber is still there it's just not sealing all the time.

don't 'lean' ..... fall, 99% sure that's the problem.

I just pulled the top of the Greddy BOV off and saw I have about an inch rip in the rubber seal. I guess then that's probably my issue. Crap!! Oh well, I guess it did it's job well for quite some time with the amount of boost I've been running!

that just might be your ""issue""

You can just throw a condom over the top of the diaphragm but it's a very temp fix.

Mike,

After I got off the phone wiht you this morning and told you about the tial. I realized I have a complete band new upper ic pipe here with a tial welded onto it already for a customer who decided not to take it. Let me know if you are interested in it.

same thing happened to my RS BOV at 30 psi...They're a great valve, just the rubber portion of the diaphragm doesn't hold up.
