3037s turbo upgrade

I just recieved my 3037s upgrade and Im finding out there is some modification needed. Does anyone know where I can get the modified parts? I dont want to have my car sitting in the garage half apart while I wait for a fabricator to get around to making parts for me. The downpipe needs to be modified and so does the hard intercooler pipes I ordered from RMR ( which I havent recieved) Any suggestions on a clutch? My car is totally stock now and already I feel it doesnt grab well in 3d gear...the clutch is definitely the achilles heel.

If you don't mind us asking. You have a hell of a list of vehicles there.

On the fabrication note The best bet for you would be to look through your phone book and find a quality speed shop in your area that will do the work for you quickly. Since you have so many insane cars i'm sure you know of a good place. Whatever you do just make sure they know EXACTLY what they are doing. The downpipe shouldn't be much of a problem for any qualified shop, or if your up to it go bust out a welder and try it yourself

Call RMR and talk to them about the mods. I know they did a 3037 conversion on a customer car already.

I do mergers and acquisitions..business development ..boring stuff...but gets me my toys....I just moved to lazy *** florida and Im finding it nearly impossible to find anyone competant enough to do anything...thats if they even show up...I know alot of people are pretty well dialed in on these forums so I thought I would see if any obscure supplier had some of these parts readily available, Im sure its only a matter of time. Im still waiting on my parts from RMR and they didnt have any line on the parts needed to make the 3037s fit, but they did offer for me to send my kit out there so they could fit it on one of their cars and make the parts necessary then pull it all off and send it to me....just doesnt seem economically feasible...Im buying their intercooler piping kit which also needs to be modified...any ideas????

John, Since you just moved to florida any shop is going to be risky. If you don't know any other car crazy people down in florida either head out to a local auto show sometime and ask around. You are sure to find some sort of recommendation. Also you should give a post into the regional forum asking people in your area with evos where they would go to get this job done. Just trying to help you out. I know how frustrating it can be to have something new to tinker with but no means to properly install. I'm sure youll find somewhere to get some quality fab work done. Also whats your email address, I think you need my resume

Wow your going to need much more than that. Injectors, fuel pump, ECU, HKS downpipe will work, boost control ect ect. Clutch better look at a double disc for that much power.

that turbo is good for 550hp, you will need to replace pretty much everything, stock internals are good for 450hp.
so heres the list:
injectors
ecu,
exhaust manifold
downpipe
pistons
rods
clutch
intercooler

I sent one of my cars to dynamic turbo once...it was an 87 T Type...They had a difficult time getting it to run right and it turned out to be a cracked block...I thought about using them again....but then i get flash backs about my car being tied up for 4 months and the 4000 bill I got ultimately I sold my T Type...which if you look on the archives of ebay you will see....it was the car I threatened to turn into a barbque on the 4th of july if I didnt sell it...The guy Jose there seems like a nice enough guy... the guy I sold the car to knows them pretty well...even sold them some parts...I called them intitially to do the 3037 kit on my evo but they dont use a dyno and the only one down here is Speed Shop...I think this time Im gonna do the work with my friend and we can dial the car in at Speed Shop...I got my kit from SPD and they are pretty damn good...best prices anywhere and they have all the JDM parts most of these other tuners dont even know exist...I just wanted to see if anyone here knew of a small independent somewhere that had the downpipe and hard intercooler pipes...Tomorrow Ill ask Seth at SPD and Im pretty sure he will locate it for me...just on a side note.....I called Vishnu to get their stage 0 before I decided to go radical..their message said they would get back to me in 72 hours...how do these people run their businesses? Im waiting for 3 weeks for parts from RMR...the guys were super helpful at RMR....but they never delivered a single part...and I ordered ALOT....everything to do this swap EXCEPT the 3037....I may cancel my order and go to SPD

Im not going inside the block and Im not running race fuel ..Ill be happy with 425-450 to the wheels on street gas...Ill be using an E-Manage, the 3037s comes with a nice manifold, the downpipe has to be modified..the clutch I will definitely change...I feel it slip a little in 3rd now...Mitsubishi should be ashamed of themselves for putting that weak clutch in...the stock intercooler is fine...

John,

Where is speed shop located? The only reason why i recommend Dynamic turbo is that I've been looking for a good shop to go to and in this area, they seem to be the only one. Their prices r ok. Labor is 50/hr. I was under the impression that the only awd dyno is in Tampa . Anyway can u tell me where speedshop and spd is? Web Address?

Im not referring them...Ive never been there...I know they are getting an AWD dyno in any day now..I will be going there with a friend who is very very knowledgeable and able to tune these cars..BUT there is nothing like dialing in a car right on the rollers....so far there is only ONE person Id recomend with ANY turbo Application and that Seth From SPD (and trust me...Ive had many many cars and quite a few magazine cars...and Im skeptical of anyone after the past couple years with the influx of inexperienced tuners) ...Im sending my 59 356 Cab there to california to get a 340hp turbo motor ( you do the math, 340hp, 1400 pounds funnnnn) Here is Speed Shop's info

John.

I'm currently using the Vishnu Xede box. If u ever talk to them, skip talking to Brad. Horrible customer support. If u ask me, I feel like returning that product. They expect everyone to go along with their program. I want to be able to chose what to put in my car. When I told Brad I installed the Racing suction Kit, I felt like I was being scolded for it...he told me to put back my stock air box. Shiv on the other hand is much better. He is better in treating customers, plus he knows his ****.

why get 3037 the biggest hks to run 400hp?
should have gone with 2835. 3037 will be laggy. You will still need to replace injectors and programable ecu. Emange wont work and the car will just run lean.
