First impression heavy..

much heavier than the stock one 3 to 4 times heavier.

Definitly good quality for price.

stock elbows were a pain in the *** definitly not fun putting them on.

left the undertray off, did not feel like trimming it. Had to take off the left side air dam to oil cooler.

I did not drop boost at all. i was at 19psi dropping at 6k to about 17psi

After installed it hit 19psi and stayed all the way to 7k


boost came on alittle later than before barely noticeable but once it is spooled up is much more responsive.


i have injen intake, fuel pump, catless turbo-back, and tune.

 

is it the ams copy?

ive heard a couple ppl now say that the ams copy ebay core isnt that bad...


but you get what you pay for i guess.... who knows..

 

AMS copy will never compete with the original

 

Boost comes a little later cause larger intercoolers create more boost lag.

 

I concur, but no one typed it would either in sales nor performance.

 

I have a friend with a VIII that uses the Ebay Intercooler and runs 440WHP@ 430TQ. It works.......

 

I know i just threw it out there for the hell of it. im not a big fan of buying ebay parts.

 

I got the 4" core ic. it is heavy, but fits nice, had to grind a bit of beam though. Getting it dyno'ed later this month with meth/h2o

my friends uncles brothers sisters hairdressers neighbor has a honda with one, he also knows someone that makes 900whp with one and ran a 12.11.

 

 

hey who says the fleabay isnt better then the AMS, have yet to see a true test on the same car, if i was AMS i wouldnt do it, most people believe the hype about their intercooler anyway.
