Wow, like Al said it seems like a fuel issue/mechanical issue. Why is that scratched ontop of the piston? Was that the spark plug or valves? Crazy.... Good luck with the rebuild!

lets break it down, i run a mechanic shop with my father from 8-5...in between jobs i stripped the motor, the whole wiring harness, dropped the transmission, radiator, power steering, a/c, upper intake piping, all heater hoses, downpipe, turbo, the whole engine bay...after dropping the block i had to strip everything including oil pan, oil pump, all timing belt cover and accessories with pullies, take the clutch and flywheel off, EVERYTHING...im sorry i didnt take the other pistons out, i am just a little tired and upset from this whole mess....i would like to see someone do this in their driveway in 8 hours, let alone run a business. i am a little overwhelmed and frustrated with this mess.

funny you ask, when i took the spark plug out and shined a flash light, it looked like a perfect hole on top of the piston so i took a long thin philips screwdriver and wiggled it around...sorry about that confusion.

i can not see how this can be a fuel issue as i ran the car again when i got it to the shop...no lines were off anywhere and i garuntee you the fuel pump works.

Yea man Id be aggravated too. I could wrench apart my engine too but I wouldnt like it any more than you did especially when you have no choice and 9k mile car
