Just made a big purchase from AMS
thats getting down to business quick, congrats on your new setup man!
I don't have a local place to tune the AEM and it costs $950 for the tune. So my plan is to install what I ordered, then build the motor, put an smc alcohol kit, a vsr intake, and anything else I can think of. Once all of that is done then I will get the AEM. This way I only have to pay for the tune once.
Congrats on the recent Evo purchase and way to start itching the mod bug! Once you scratch you can't stop! LOL!
Quick question though: doesn't the AMS turbo kit come with an IC, IC piping and intake piping? If so it seems like you wasted money on the Injen parts. Are you going to turn around and sell them?

Oh and the biggest reason I held off is because I have spent almost 10k on this car in the last two weeks and I only bought the car about two months ago. I need to take it easy for a little bit but I have the bug real bad
I know it was stupid, but two weeks ago when I bought all of my bolt ons I wasn't planning on doing this so soon but I couldn't help myself. So yes, I will be selling the intake, MR exhaust manifold, MR downpipe, and MR o2 housing.
I have the 35r from AMS and a single walbro and meth and boosting at 28psi and making 497awhp... I have the ams resonated testpipe exhaust, AMS FICP, 880, gsc 272s... It is very nice. I would suggest upgrading the transmission, transfercase, and clutch though. I am in the process of building the transmission and transfercase.
