Does any vendor sell a 5 speed conversion kit for a 6 to 5 speed swap??? If anyone sells this please let me know I need to buy one asap

Shifter base, shifter cables, shift linkage bracket, tranny side mount, 5 speed sensor harness.

The issue is that the shifter base is sold in pieces from the dealer. Shep puts it together for you and makes sure you have everything you need.

You could probably get everything you need off a wrecked evo, but I would just get it from shep and save the hassle.

Does this include the console for the shifter where the ash tray and cigerette lighter go?

 

I recently did the swap, its not too complicated. You don't need the center console either, the shifter boot is just a little looser ( I prefer it). Also the transmission harness is not needed if you go to the junk yard and pick up the same connector end and just re-pin the harness you have to make it work for the 5spd reverse sensor. If you need a parts listing I have one available, as well as the manual on how to put it together.

How about a 5-Speed to a 6-Speed? Do they make those? And how hard would it be?

 

Just the opposite, lol. I have the 6spd assembly all made up . You still need the 6spd tranny mount, shifter cables, etc. Find some one that did a five speed swap for the parts *cough*.
