Help pls:3rd to 4th shift not working...

Happened about a week ago and I can't figure out what the problem is. Basically what happens is anytime I try to do a hard 3-4 shift, like at the track, 4th gear won't grab and the rpms fly up, after that my 4th gear can't be engaged at all, so if I put it in 4th, the rpms fly up and the shifter moves up slightly. I also found out earlier this week that when I do a hard 2-3 shift, I can use my 4th gear again in normal driving, not hard driving. It seems that anytime I'm in high rpm in my 3-4 shift, it just doesn't happen. I've checked my bushings and cables and they seem fine, don't know what else I could really check really. I am changing my oil this weekend when the fluids come in from redline but they're right at the point when I should switch em out, so I do hope it may be this. Any suggestions though? Sorry for the long rant/question. And yes I've been searching threads on this for the past few days and I can't seem to find one that answers my question.

Do you have an aftermarket clutch? If it's engagement is very close to the floor, you could be experiencing high RPM lockout, which isn't good for the synchros.

Otherwise, you may just be experiencing poor synchro alignment, which could be a sign of bad/low fluid or a failing transmission

It's possible to be synchros even though they do work after I do a hard 2-3 shift/
