Good post. I like how so many non "car people" say that it doesn't matter which gas station you go to. I get the cheapest stuff I can find for any car that is a cheap daily driver that only needs regular, but for a car that sees boost everyday it does matter.

Has anyone heard or experienced anything good or bad about Sinclaire? I fill up there everytime because there is only a Rebel, Exxon, and a 7-11 besides Sinclaire here.

I've had a bad experience with Shell. In Cali, 76 and Chevron are the better stations. That's not saying much, because as soon as I fill up with Nevada gas, my car seems to wake up. **** California

In Delaware, Valero stations are everywhere and, prior to Al tuning my car, had made the mistake of using their gas. While it's sometimes an inconvenience, I have been using 1 of 2 sunoco stations with better results.

BTW, for meth users, there is a VP dealer in Newark--they all VP products including C16 and offer a military discount.

If it helps:

Shell: http://www.localshell.com/Search.aspx?Route

Sunoco: http://www.sunoco.navisite.com/searc...r=OR&radius=50

BP: http://www.bp.com/toolserver/heliosp...tentId=7031707

gas stations

More importantly stay away from blending pumps if possible.
Those are the pumps with ONE HOSE on the pump and the blender just switches it over reg/plus/super.
They guy in the taxi cab before you fills up on regular, the blender pump will still have a good amount of regular waiting for you.
If possible get to the pumps that have 3 HOSES reg/plus/super,this way you are defintly getting super every time.

Texaco use to be the best in the mid-late 90s. But one of my friends warned me that it was going down the crapper (relatively speaking) after Texaco merged with Shell (or was it Chevron?) (living in Texas, run into a few people in the industry!). The current Shell V-power is basically what Texaco use to advertise (don't remember their name for it). So is the Chevron with Techron. Basically though, the fuel has a bunch of detergents in it to help clean the motor of sludge and deposit buildups. Texaco use to advertise that you'd feel the difference after 5 tanks worth.

I use Shell now because I have a Shell Mastercard and I get 5% back on Shell gas But, if you stick with either Shell, BP, Chevron, and maybe Texaco, you should be fine. I'm sketchy of Exxon as it's ALWAYS cheaper than all the other stations. Just stay away from places like Valeo, Diamond Shamrock, Hess, etc.
