seems different from mine.. did you have to ask for the bigger hotside because i think mine came with a .63?

would you mind taking a few pics of your turbo and kit for me please?

Thanks a ton!

Pictures This turbo has the FP sainless housing. Sorry I dont have a pic of just the turbo. Yes this is an off the shelf kit, with exception of the compressor housing, unless Dave has now desided to offer the Tial compressor housing with kits now. I was asked to try it, and let him know if the surging was as bad as it was with the drilled housing. And reported back to Dave and told him it was 99.8% gone and was working great. David said, great to hear.
Best pic I have of the turbo is this...

Here is the new housing...

And the old....

VWJeff, the more and more I see of your car makes me want to drop my Green turbo and pickup a 35R . Thanks for the video also. BTW, I came from a VR6 Turbo (built 2.9l, GT40, etc.) so good to see another making the trip from the darkside...

You always post and say that you think that buschur sent your the wrong turbo and that you don't have a 35r. Have you ever tried contacting them? Seriously.

excellent results especially with .82 hot side. i dont know what the big fuss is about with the 35r's lag when it doesnt matter at the track, unless your horrible at shifting.

its not really ment too. its to show people that a 35r is not too laggy. people act like the damn thing takes a week to spool up and it dont...

and the other post above me. your 100%right.. a 35r is way laggy for a guy who cant drive for crap. otherwize im sure there is no issues or complants.

a laggy 35r = poor setup, car problems, crapy driver. plan and simple.

vwjeff, I really appreciate the video for those of us who have never had the chance to ride in a 35r Evo. Just wish I would have been able to see the gauges better on the 5th gear pull...

I wish more big-turboed guys on here would video what their setups are like, so those of us looking to upgrade would know what we are getting ourselves into...

to bad your so far away... I like to 40 roll, what a better way to see who pulls harder

your spool is better due to the fact you have a .63 a/r.

No... it says Buschur Dyno #'s in my signature My car only goes on there dyno.

This was a 3rd gear pull. The 4th gear pull was aittle over 400, but the graph didnt show up right cause I let out to early

If you wanna bench dyno the car with the 1.2 correction factor from Mustang to DJ, I am thinking it might look like this??? But I really dont care what my DJ #'s are.

93 pump.... 452whp.

C16... 560whp.

Besides what do DJ number mean anyway, bottom line is.........................

YOU LOSE
