Buschur 35r lag video........

35r lag is not bad when you have the right parts and a good tuner. If you want a 35r and lag that isn't bad, all you have to do is ask... WWDB do to make everything work together?

So I give you this video of me on my way to the shoot-out yesterday Sorry the tach is hard to see, and I sound like a cheese di*k cause I wasnt sure way to say But you get the picture.

If you got questions, just ask. I drove 2 hours to the shoot-out and 2 hours back home. I made 6 passes, my best was 11.06 at 127 wth a 1.84 60ft on my c16 tune at 29psi going through the traps at just a hair over 7900rpm... traction was horrible all day for everyone

My car has a stock short block, head, valve springs, throttle body, and intake manifold.

In such a high gear you will get quick spool with all that load on the motor. I would like to see a 3rd gear pull from 2500 to see the true spool chacteristics of the turbo.

My stock turbo spools at 2000 in 6th, Not a fair representation. Load DIRECTLY contributes to spool.

To the OP, No grief here so hope YOU did'nt take it that way, Thanks for taking the initiative to try to gather some info for the forums.

Looks to be about 45 to 4600rpm Started at 3k and pulled it to 8k.

As you can see the lag is not bad...... its fun!

much better. now for some thats laggy. for others. not at all.... what some people got to remember is your not gonna start a pull like this ''3rd gear 3krpm'' you would be in 2nd gear right now. the lag will be less because the rpm is higher. when you race your always in mid/high to high rpm's so there is no lag there. but when you start like this there is lots of it. i for one think most people need to learn to drive rather then ***** about this and that. nice car thanks for the vids

That's what I'm talking about. Looks fun to me as well. Jealous, I for one don't think the lag of the 35R is as bad as speculated on the internet, but to each their own.

is this the off shelf turbo kit that buschur sells on there website or was something changed?

seems different from mine.. did you have to ask for the bigger hotside because i think mine came with a .63?

would you mind taking a few pics of your turbo and kit for me please?

Thanks a ton!

It is a preference to some to have the powerband down low, but if you want to breath up top the 35r is the way to go. I can personally attest to this as i just installed a PTE 3061 RE ball bearing turbo and the fun begins at 4500. Its a blast to drive!
