Thumbs up Best Buschur mod...new bullet muffler with a Magnaflow

I put a bullet muffler on in place of the cat delete straight pipe to try to quite the car car down. All I can say is wow, at idle and part throttle she is nice and quite, anything over 4000rpm and it sounds just like it did before with just the Magnaflow. As far as I can tell throttle and spool are the same. If you are looking for a quieter exhaust this it a great choice.

Now if I can jsut do something with the open dump tube

Awesome! I've been wanting to do this for a while. I have the bullet muffler in the rear already, I'd just be doubling up. How much quieter is it at a cruise ~70mph?

When I went to Buschur's to get my work done in August we were waiting for Dan to get to the shop. We had gotten out of the cars and were waiting just talking and stuff and then we heard something moving over rocks. It was Dan pulling into the lot, but he may as well have had his car off it was so quiet, we didn't hear him. It was so quiet in fact it actually made me consider doing it to mine as well.

See Bret.... I didnt steer you wrong. Glad you like the new addition.

I ran 2 bullet mufflers on my car when I had it and loved it. It sounded great I think. The magnaflow in the rear and bullet under the car is REALLY quiet.

It is very quite at cruising speeds and around town it seems as quite as stock. I wish I would have done this as soon as I got the car. I can actually listen to the radio now

I know, I was very happy when I fired her up and could tell instantly I will not look like a 41 year old hoodlum anymore. Props for the J-Rod

BR welds just the muffler to the cat delete pipe, I think it was like $235 or somthing. To about 3 seconds to put in.

are you using a 2-bolt flange on both sides of the muffler?

It is slip fit on the midsection and 2 bolt flange on the dp side. It took longer to get the car up on jack stands then it did to change out the pipe.
