I never denied that what I did wasn't exactly the smartest move ,but if actions dictate intelligence then congratulations to me for getting in med school. Thanks to all of yall for your opinions, criticism, honda comments, and finally helpful suggestions. Do you all actually think I need an X amount of people telling me what I did was stupid? I mean come on. Am I butthurt? Not really. I did expect flaming since after all, "it's a public forum". The reason I even created a thread was to get helpful advice and I got a bit of it and don't regret creating this thread. At least I'll save some hapless soul from evening considering filling up with E85 without the proper fuel setup. I'm done with this thread so carry on people. FYI, my car is still fine but I will continue to take it easy just to be safe.

why did you put E85 without tuning? are you still on stock injectors? I would not drive it until you tune for it. I would think once you get all of the old gas out of the lines you won't even be able to start your car and keep it running on the stock tune. did you research at all before you did this?

e85 requires about 30 percent more fuel than 93 oct which means you'll be running lean with your map

at the very least you need to get larger injectors/255 pump and reflash for the scaling and latancy.

you definitely should have done atleast injectors/pump and a tune.

e85evo.com has a "starter kit" which includes the following:

Full Blown dual housing (anodized for E85 use)
2 Walbro fuel pumps
780cc or 880cc peak and hold fuel injectors
Custom Flash for E85 (stock turbo)
Forge or Hallman boost controller
Tactrix cable
Stock line kit
-$1200

you might even need stronger lines than the stock ones

I bet your car doens't even start right now. just drain the tank and refill with gas. and research alittle more next time it is not the same as running 100 oct race gas.

You can mix most race fuels with pump, but not ethanol anything.

do you have a data logger? I'd just keep the car in closed loop and see if the fuel trims can get it under control. Definitely stay out of boost, you are gonna be dangerously lean. If you cant log and dont know if the car is ok then drain the tank and fill it back up with 93, then reset the ecu

Self-Serve Fuel Lesson for Dummies #001:

If your car is designed to utilize unleaded gasoline, filling it with E85, diesel, biodiesel, kerosene, or water may result in serious engine damage.

Ok, carry on . . .
