I might use your 555's next time out 9sec9. I'll call and talk to you first if I decide to take you up on the offer.

USP, the Stage 5's I would only use in the rear. Changing the front axles isn't needed. BTW, your engine is shipping Monday.

sorry to hear about your day db...

what in the way of shock set-up are you do to help your car hook up?

it's not like you can slap in some drilled out moroso drag shocks up front......

are you running a ebc? if so, next time out, you may want to try & set up a lower target boost for 1st gear or "x" seconds or mph in order to get your car out of the hole.....it's not like your running some 14x32's either....or are you?

Damn global warming! Where is it when we need it. There is always a next time Dave.

OT,
What about the DSS stage 2 rear axles? Are they any better than stock without the weight gain?

Thats an interesting thing, I never knew the upgraded Stage 2-5 rear axles would weigh more than stock

there comes a time when people need to consider other options......was david trying to acomplish this feat on street tires?

if so, by using a ebc, he could just go to the advance portion of boost control within his aem & set up a target boost table based off of car speed.

just a thought.

i am sure he will get it done

just need to make the car hook up......is there a video of his car launching?

Seems like the car definitely can attain your goals for it. Hope to see it accomplish it next time out.

yes these runs were done on street tires..

Dave, if you truly wanna run the fastest times possible go to a 235/60/15 mickey thompson radial. I know it means swapping brakes and wheels but i promise youll drop minimum .2 on the 60ft with those tires. I have tested 4 different 15" radials and the MT are the best. I snapped my rear axle on the street with those tires so imagine how they hook at the track.

I am running our dual stage manual controller. Next time out if the day goes smoother it will give me some time to try some other things. We were going to leave on low boost and then switch to high boost on the 1-2 gear change. Simple to do that.

Yes, I am running on Toyo Trampio radials. It is a tire comparible to the Nitto NT01's, more for road racing.

IF I am going to change the brakes on my car to run a 15" or 16" wheel I gaurantee at that point I am going to a full slick, no more radial tires if I went to the extreme of changing the brakes. I am praying someone comes out with a really good 17" drag radial or slick by spring.

Here is some good news that I didn't even realize. Previously the cars best 1/8th MPH was 118 mph. The 9.79 pass this Sunday the car went 120.61 mph! That's freaking hauling in the 1/8th.

Hoping this coming Sunday is nice out, we'll be taking the black car and my RS back out if it is.
