I am sure with all the tuning AMS does they could supply this same type of information to back up any data I may supply. Whether or not they have the time is another story, not that I do either, I am too busy argueing! haha
HOw do you feel about teh standard AMS IC? just curious. I would love to see that your deluxe, race and ETS 3.5 all in a row.

is this an arguement of using water being sprayed to make one intercooler measure up to another?

if not, pretty stupid... we all no removing more heat is going to make a difference...

goofy goofy...

I know the OP stated the Turbo XS one also. Anyone have any good data on that one. I was between the AMS, TurboXS, and ETS. Both TurboXS and ETS seem to be the best price for performance.

Are there any performance shops in the UK that actually make intercoolers? It would seem to me that with the fascination on ball bearing turbo conversions in the UK, there must be enough interest in turbocharging that someone on your side of the Atlantic would produce intercoolers.

No kidding, they've had Evo's a lot longer than we have!

Yeah i know, but if you import yourself, you can get caught by customs and get heavily taxed!!! If your unlucky, if you buy from a uk dealer you dont have this hassle

I wanted to thank David for trying to get us the info we desire, and also wanted to thank the idiots who ruined it for the rest of us because they can't follow simple directions and couldn't keep their fingers off the keyboard for 5 minutes.

Good news S2kracka:

http://buschurforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20445

Just go there for the information I have put together so far. I can moderate the thread there so it will stay clean and easy to read. 2 pages of I/C information so far.

Lucas and ETS is going to show all the aem logs on a much better test than this on the ETS intercoolers

How exactly will their information be much better than what I am posting? I am posting logs from cars I have tuned with starting AIT's, boost levels and ending AIT's.

The information could be much better with a real scientific test being performed, such as doing it back to back in one day, dyno numbers etc. I've done that stuff before and posted it here on EVOm.

This is just generic data, as it says in the thread on our site.

Just found this in my inbox, which is what ifarted wrote the first time:

"LOL of course your intercooler shines above all else! what a joke of a test.
Lucas and ETS is going to show all the aem logs on a much better test than this"

ifarted, you seriously have a problem. The tests I posted are not a joke nor are they showing that ours shines above all others. You read what you want to read and nothing else. There are only a few really great I/C's out there. Look at the results from AMS's Race FMIC I have posted in the thread. Look at the results from our original 1g DSM core, it SUCKED, I still posted it even though I've sold hundreds of them. Open your eyes, you might just find some information that makes your car faster instead of the disgraceful 9.43, 1014 whp turd it is now.
