What mods can I do while replacing intake manifold gasket?

I'll be changing the intake manifold gasket (due to a leak), and was wondering what mods I can do (that are worthwhile for my power level) while everything is out.

From what I read, a ported stock intake manifold probably won't do much for me. I'm on the stock viii turbo, with exhaust and cams. I dynoed at 310 whp, and I'm running running low-12's @ 112 mph on pump gas. List of mod are in my sig.

Is there anything else, that can be done while we're knee deep in the intake?

you could get a phenolic spacer.. Supposedly brings down the temps... i know on all motor k-series we have seen power gains..

I had one of these on my RSX-S supercharged and the differance it made in temps was huge. I have not seen anyone with a EVO using one though.

I would suggest sending in your stock intake manifold and throttle body to us while they are off. We actually have some cores here so it woud be a simple and quick turn around. The same day we get your intake and throttle body in here the other units we have here would be shipped out. Anything really to get more air into the car is going to help you out. Not only that but, if you later on down the road decide to go to a bigger turbo, ported head and so on you know this setup is already proven.
