?Question for you twin pump guys?

For all of you that have twin pumps, which Adj. Fuel Reg. are you guys using? I'm thinking about going to the twin pump setup, but wondered if I did need an adj reg, and which ones are you guys ging with. I'm on a 2.3 with the HTA. Currently on a single 255 fuel pump. I'd hate to run out of fuel next time I go to the dyno.

Call Buschur Racing and talk to them. Ask whether or not you'd need an adjustable FPR or larger feed and return lines in conjunction with their BR intank double pumper system. I just don't know why these guys are telling you to buy new fittings, fuel lines, and an adjustable FPR. I'd think that the stock lines and regulator would be up to the task, unless you've got a mondo 800 WHP setup. It seems like overkill to me.

Maybe it would be necessary with a dual inline setup or any dual setup where both pumps are on simultaneously at lower boost levels and at part throttle. In that case, I could see the excess volume of two 340's at partial throttle openings, low boost and low load overwhelming the return line. But the beauty of the Buschur double pumper is that at low boost levels where you definitely don't need the extra volume of a second pump..there is only one pump on and delivering. Furthermore, you can adjust the exact boost level at which you want the second pump to kick in at, via the adjustable Hobbes switch.
