i have an evo 8 with a hks bov. i want to put the evo 9 bov on but dont have anything from the stock setup. so what im asking is when can i buy the clamps that i will need. im assuming theres only one clamp for the current hks bov and the stocker has 2

 

The best thing to do would be to the stock UICP from an EVO or get a UICP that works with the stock EVO IX BOV.

 

just take off the hks flange and get the rubber hose that the stock bov goes on and clamp it down
why are you taking off the hsk bov in the 1st place?

 

the HKS bov is a VTA bov and doesn't work well with Evos which run MAF, messes up the idle, good choice to take it off =]

 

Do you have an after market UICP flanged for the HKS? Or is an HKS bolt in kit? If it's a bolt in kit, the switch rom HKS to stock would be easy. If the pipe itself is flanged, you'll need a new UICP, whether it be stock or aftermarket flanged for stock.

 

Make sure that the return line is still intact, else, youre gonna have to go buy it.
