Anyone come across this engine noise?

I can't figure out what the noise is coming from directly. I know it's from the engine block for sure, but I can't pinpoint where exactly inside. It only happens when I am driving and @ around 2800RPM-3000RPM, especially when it has just warmed up. Before and after that RPM range, it sounds and drives normally. You could say, it's a sort of weird vibrating noise. It's not having rod knock for sure, but I do knid of think maybe piston one knock? I recently switched out the plugs and it seemed to go away for a bit, then it came back. Plug number one looks covered in what looked like lead? But, I haven't been running leaded gas though. Something's not right. If anyone knows, or has experienced this, please post. I am taking apart the engine to do a build in the spring but would appreciate it if I get more information on what to expect of the engine from this when I actually do take it apart.

You could have a very bad case of detonation in one particular cylinder. When you say it looks like it's "coated in lead", do you mean it has a dull silver-ish look to the tops? FYI leaded fuels usually leave different coloring depending on brand, and none that I've ever seen will look silver. If this is the case, you may have some type of fuel issue, directly or indirectly related to that cylinder.

i am just running stock heat plugs for the winter here, but usually i run one step colder in the summer with my mods. all other plugs look good except for the plug from cylinder 1. its not silver but is grayish. i believe it might be burning oil in that cylinder. come to think of it, i do lose a quart every 1.5 weeks now.

before all this happened, i was on the dyno. strapped it on and made 376 trq w/351 hp. 2 runs after that, power started dropping really bad. i was running a green on 28-29 psi with 100 octane fuel unleaded. after the "tune" the car didnt even pull as hard as when i first came for the tune. thats when i also noticed quarts of oil gone aftwe only a couple weeks. maybe the rings in cylinder one? but could that cause the noise vibration?

noise

take the spark plugs out a take a photo and post it.
the noise you hear is in vacum(static) or the engine doing force

the noise happens whenever i go pass that RPM range no matter if in vacuum or not...under load or not. if i let the car coast, when the engine rpm goes down through that rpm range, i can still hear it, but in a different tone...as a different noise.

i forgot to mention, compression test was done before when this started happening...it turned out good...i am clueless.

anyways, to add to the dyno, i ended up with 298hp/292trq @ 28psi when i started it made 351hp/376trq.

i'll drive the car a little more and then take a pic of the plugs as these plugs were just put in about 4 days ago.

also, i forgot to mention, everytime that i start the car up, it burns oil...blue cloud of smoke..its like the oil gathers during shut down and gets all burned up when it gets run again. i just replaced valve seals and i am pretty sure they are all there and snug.
