AMS EVO8 GT Turbo kit

We finished our prototype turbo kit for the EVO8. I'm resolving some small issues now and we'll go into production pretty soon. I already had the car on the dyno but could not do any full power runs due to internal wastegate issues (we're switching to an ext. gate setup). Using an efficient twin-scroll Garrett GT series turbo the boost response is unbelievable! It spooled as quick if not quicker than the stock turbo. We'll have HP numbers up in a few weeks and a direct comparison with the stock turbo. The kit will include everything you need to install, no need for fabrication or cutting involved; Header, Turbo, Wastegate, oil feed/return lines, S.S. O2 Hsg & downpipe, Lower intercooler pipe, all neccessary hardware. We're shooting for a target price of under $4000.00 and offer two or three different turbo trims (all Garrett GT series) to make 450-600hp+. This will not be ready in a few weeks but might take as long as 6-8 weeks to get into full production. I'll post some pictures of the prototype tomorrow. It will be worth the wait!

Martin

Just when I though I was going to bite the bullet and buy a 107ci Bigdog Pitbull or Mastif... had looked at them today...

So, we talking EVERYTHING needed to run the car? Less usual bolt ons of course...

Hi all, I'm new. I've been reading this forum for the past month, finally decided to register.

AMS, does it include the intake pipe? And will it use the stock air box?

Will this kit run on a stock ecu and engine internals?

Would it be best to run the hks cams and timing gears with this kit?

Will the FMIC need upgraded?

Will you make a package to include the greddy e-01?

Will this work on the stock exhaust?

Injector upgrade, pump upgrade, ignition upgrade needed?

Just a couple questions, I am curious on what else would be needed for the kit to run the 450 hp. That is my target number for a daily driver. I have 94 oct available in Ohio. thanks
