You do know that unit was designed for an inline system and the valve does not seal 100%. So it does leak.

You want it sealed when the valve is closed which is the point of a valve, This would be a exhaust leak infront of your cat. You buy cutouts so you can have less noise and more low end torque due to more back pressure. The exhaust might also leak into your cabin which isnt the best thing for you. A leaky cut-out doesnt have the same advantages as one that seals. As soon as I installed my 3" catless tbe I noticed a loss in low end torque, very gutless sometimes on a hill start.

Not sealing when not in boost = exhaust leak.

I run a cutout on my car with a stock catback to cut down on noise...

The biggest issue i see with this design is the angle of the exhaust... its 90 deg bend instead of a smooth flow out...

This looks more like a noise maker than a power mod..

This is the unit i run on my car

For the electic part i use Race Ready, they have a lifetime warranty that they actually back. After 25k, year and a half later mine started leaking and they had a 1 day turn around time. All cutouts will eventually leak, but not after a month like my qtp one did... Luckily i was able to return that...

Cheers!

I was just showing everyone what i had found. If i get a cutout its going to be McCord point blank.

I just run a second wastegate on the downpipe. I think it showed a 30+ plus HP gain on the dyno (not 100% on the numbers, testing was done over a year ago on a friends car).
