I dont think its neccesary either but he probably couldn't answer that being that the car just finished being built. Great numbers.

OK... to clear up some information for you guys... my built motor has over 5k miles on it of STREET DRIVING... just because it is cemented doesnt mean that it is not daily driveable, i think it was less than 1/4 way filled with block guard. If you would like to know more info about it please call TERRY at class 1 motors and he will be more than happy to tell you more about it.

as far as the "i dont see how you did that with 1 pump" well thats easy for you to find out since your local... stop by and i'll show you or you can ask P&L or DEVO. thanks.

the question is why would i go bb? an extra 500+ dollars for 200rpm spoolup? or in my case a little under 200rpm spoolup!!! This isnt my first turbo kit, its actually my 8th or 9th and guess what out of all of those this is my only turbo that hasnt been bb so i have real world data on spoolup times.

I can vouch for P&L's dyno reading lower than most dynojets; I put down ~440 there and trap 126. You should easily trap in the low 140's w/ that power.

I know what you mean, but you said before, the car is street driven.. and its not just spoolup, its transient response, which is proven to be much better on a BB turbo and also, off boost response is also much better with the BB turbos. This is proven. Also, 200rpm of spool for $500 bucks doesnt sound too bad since you spent Im sure at least $10,000 on this build, if not much more. If you just built a track car that was doing soley quarter miles, I could MAYBE see not getting a BB turbo, however, in every way, spoolup, transient response, and all around street driving is IMPROVED. For $500, I dont think thats so bad. I have had non-BB and BB turbos on my DSM, along with my brothers DSM, and been in many EVOs with them. They are sold with just about every turbo kit for a reason

I guess it all depends on the owners preference right?... either way, i just wanted to share some dyno #'s of my car that im particularly happy with. As far as driving goes, i really dont mind the lag as it is NOT my daily driver but it is street driven/weekend car.

As far as the dyno being lower than most... P&L have had cars dyno at ams's dynojet and then come to P&L and dyno lower... yes this could mean a lot of different things but you know what, i really could care less im happy with my numbers even if they are the same as EVERY OTHER dynojet
