Can someone explain cementing a block/engine to me? I can infer what it means, but I'd like a more technical description. Thanks.

You see this alot in american cars, basically you fill empty space in the block with cement also known as block filler. It makes the block stronger, not so much the cylinders themselves but the block in general. The problem with it is this (empty) space is the cooling passages in the block meaning theres less coolant in the block itself.Originally Posted by atlvalet

That pretty much somes it up. I have 20% block fill in my 2.0. No problems whatsoever with overheating. And I don't even have a fan. Well, other than the one that comes on with the ac.Originally Posted by blackevoguy

go on www.devotuning.com and theres a bunch of info on how much tunes are. I believe they are 250. Defintely worth it when you have a great tuner like adam tuning your car.
