greddy type s bov
greddy type s bov
just had a quick question regarding a bov on the evo i bought.
it has the greddy i beleive to be the type s one (one that recircs and has a purp top)
upon closer inspection i noticed a little metal tube with a hole (wich looks like a vacuum hose should be attached to it)
is this fine with the evo?
i come from a mr2 turbo with a hks bov and i had vacuum lines attched to it but how does it fair on the evo not having anything attached to it.
if it does need something there where should i connect this outlet to?

On the Greddy Type S, to nipple that comes out of the purple top is the one to connect to your manifold vacuum/boost source, the one below the cap that is attached to the body of the BOV should be left open, ie. nothing attached to it.
As far as low RPM's with a VTA bov, I have read and experienced in person TONS of cars with VTA BOV's and most people recommend a tune to fix that.
More experienced can chime in.

I would check it out and double check what you got to make sure everything is in place, and I think it tells you what to do for the low rpms. not sure tho. I think you may be set to hard.
