output shaft

output shaft

is there another way to remove the output shaft to removed the TC/ instead of using a slide hammer is there a puller? i know it is a dumb question and it has been asked 1 million times.

That is the only way I have removed them as its in there snug and there is a spring clip, and takes a fair amount to release it.

I did the borrow - and what they do is charge your credit card the amount it costs (140$) then refund the amount after you return it.

yes there is
i bought a 2 1/2 in 8m bolt put a couple of big washer(wide) and a nut to keep the washers tight to the head of the bolt i also put a big nut(cv axle) other than the 8m one, so the washers wouldnt bent, i used a straight pry bar about 18" long so it woulnd't hit the floor if your doing it on the floor, screw about 3/4 of the bolt in and then pry it using if i remember the control arm as lever. 2 or 3 times and it was out , i was surprised how well it worked.

i just did it last weekend before i crashed my car today. (cost of the gig) 5 bucks bolt , washer and 8m nut
