Question Evo 9 output shaft help ASAP!!!!!!!

So I'm dropping my transmission using the evo moto clutch flyeheel install and I came to the part where the output shaft has to be removed with a dent puller.

According to evo moto the output shaft is on the drivers side of the tranny but on my car the output shaft is on the passenger side...

Does it stil have to be removed with the dent puller becaue it won't budge when I try to pull it...

Is this diferent because it's an evo 9?

Does the output shaft still have to come out or can it remain in?

I need help asap please

thanks,
nick

I did my clutch on a evo 9 and it's the drivers side shaft that needs to be pulled not the pass. side. then the transfer case can be pulled out of the way. I tied mine out of the way with wire.

Hope that helps! GL

I did it once with out a slide hammer but it's hard to do, a slide hammer makes it really simple
