I got this code this moring on my way to work. I know it is a "engine overboost" or "turbo wastegate system malfunction." The car has been acting really funny the past two weeks. In the past two weeks the only thing I have done is installed an intake pipe. In 3rd gear if I am at WOT I hear a loud "bang!" from the exhaust and hit fuel at around 6k. I checked and changed my spark plugs yesterday and I found I am running rich. This morning I was rolling in 3rd then I punched it and at 6k hit fuel cut. It has happened before but never threw a code.

Could all of this be happening because I am not tuned? I am getting Ivey Tuned next saturday. If the car is doing this not because of needing a tune, what is it?

 

yes, you just need tuned.

Yes we transmissions on all the evos and other cars also. I went 9.8@153.32 on our trans shifitng at 10200RPM!!!!
