well what i mean is i am going to use the injectors to fine tune it with the aem.what i need to do is look at my duty cycle on those runs.i guess i answered my own question...lol.i am sure i will have enough fuel pressure.i am running 3 walbros.but what do you think abo ut using the nitrous for the enitre power band?or do you recomend for just spool up.

i would just use them for spool up. when are you getting full boost now??

as for the full system, whats going to be the peak presure?? i have heard walbros are very good below 70psi but really fall down after that!

also i would start lower on the N2O. go for say a 50shot. if you intnet to reduce lag then you dont need massive amounts.

thanks Chris.

I dont know if you saw my post but check this out. I pretty much have no turbo lag what so ever. It doesnt even feel like I'm driving a turbo car, alky got rid of all lag its like instant spool up

i dont make full boost until about 6kish.i am running about 65psi of fuel pressure.i guess i will be very conservitive to start to see how my fuel psi reacts on the bottle.
my intent is also to reduce lag but also make more power of course.i really cant wait to start messing around with this as soon as my tranny gets back.....

instead of anti lag set up which is great for rally type racing but for drag racing big time 1200 HP or more use the 2-3 stage regular Nos or spray injection. but they also use NOS with feeding it directly into the turbo to get the power instantly there since it takes time for the turbo or turbos to reach spool up. Some also use an electric type system to start up the turbo at the beginning then cutting it off and letting the turbo do its own job.
has anyone tried this on an evo yet?

you guys will be hearing more about electric type spool up in the future when cars become more electric with 32-45V systems, not the 12V we have now.
Company's already have products ready and are just waiting for manufactures to make the cars popular.

most of the BIG V8 drag cars ihave sene simpley use a 2step and a transbrake to launch. very simple but it works well.

this N2O spraying directly onto the turbo. have you got any more info on it?? never heard of that before. i would use something a little less flamable personally, maybe co2.

cheers

Chris.

Hallo,

it's impressive what meth injection can do with spool up times, but what i want to ask is (maybe someone knows) how do you tune meth injection for better spoolup?

i guess it's not just the meth alone?

- do you tune for a leaner fuel mixture and add the rest with meth?
- do you use the knock resistance to increase ignition advance in low/midrange to improove spool

or what brings the main benefit...

Hope someone can clear up...
Best regards
