Normal Oil Pressure?

when i am at full throttle mine will read past 100 PSI which is off the gauge is that something i should be worried about it seems like its very high if the gauge doesnt even go that far

when i first start my car im at around 95psi then when its warm it will idle around 15-25psi sometimes will go as low as 10psi. yea mines does that too. when im at full boost it will go to 100psi. its all normal. evos have just have high oil pressure. my oil is also 10w-40 amsoil and a prosport gauge

10w-30 Amsoil
cold start is 76psi, hot idle is 14-16psi and at WOT I am just about 90-100psi

Thats normal. I have the Defi Blue Racer gauge and it reads about what you have there.

Oil pressure is not load-based so please stop saying X psi @ WOT. It is much more accurate to state a specific RPM.

Yes, oil pressure is rpm dependent, not load dependent.

Mine is at 120 PSI at 6000 RPM's, 90 PSI at 3000 RPM and 20 PSI at idle... Is this normal?

Sorry to bring an old thread back, but it seems this is a good topic. I think you all should also state whether or not you have balance shafts installed as this will cause i difference in the oil pressure readings. Will be higher when removed.

Might be off topic but obviously my PSI will be higher with a cold start, will this affect my cruising PSI at 3000RPM until my temp is up to normal?

Yes, this is also a good way to see when your car is actually warmed up, since your oil pressure will be higher across the board until the oil reaches its normal operating temp
