whining noise shift...

whining noise shift...

I heard a whining noise when I shift, basically is when I let the clutch go, when it conects to the engine......... if somebody have a feed back of what it could be, or what I could do....please let me know...

It may be your throwout bearing, which isnt a big deal...

yeah that is what i thought. I just prchased my evo 2004 with 29000 miles, and the clutch is now slipping dealer is going to replace!!!!! i can pay the difference over factory for something else but cant decide what to go with. ( cant afford twin disc)

lancershop its selling the throw-out bearing for $60 but they are out of stock.....

it's a great inexpensive single plate clutch

dealer took it apart and its got the exedy carbon clutch...so they have a guy rebuilding it for me!!! I thought that was pretty awesome.
