I think 450whp on an IX running a gt30r is possible, but it will probably take a bunch of supporting mods to get there, and if you're planning on road-racing the car, you may want to back off the tune slightly. As a point of reference, on my VIII, I run a 50 trim with pretty much everything you can think of and I'm between 400 and 410 whp @ 21psi. Your IX should be able to boost slightly higher and MIVEC will help too. Please post your results after the FR TS kit has been installed and tuned. Should be a beast.

dude, the fact is that anything over 400whp with a 30r using 93 octane only is really hard to do. most 35r's only hit 440whp with 93.

buschur hit 535whp on 93 on a 35r. keep in mind this was on his mustang dyno. really low reading. no meth or alchy. just send the car to him and let him do magic. the same car trapped 135 on 93 octane only.

hey whats up dyno flash i hope this is big al ??? ( let me know) i have seen all your videos u r a amazing tuner i plan on getting my parts end of february and isntalled by beggening of march

i have a few questions about your awau msit kit that u sell

i wanan run 93 and meth on stock block i have cams int he head but thats about it for head parts

do u think i would see 480 whp witht her 3076 and meth? also im not trying to be a dyno queen but obviosuly ppl love to see there car hit those numbers

im also wondering how much u sell the aqua msit kits for and how much it would be for tuning for my 03 evo 8

liek i said once i get everythign in becuase im buyign turbo off a freind and i know a few kids in Salem MA who own a speed shop who will install aprts for me but then ill be driving down to STamford for your awesoem tuning

just want to know a few things thats all

another ? is could i make the 3 hr drive on a untuned evo with the 3076r without hitting boost or would it not be smart at all to do it??

thnaks

465 WHP from an VIII, on 93 octane, with a 3076/.63 housing, unported head, unported intake manifold, stock TB, stock ECU, and mild cams, seems a bit wishful. For starters, your modest upgrade list leaves a lot of potential power on the table.

Restricted to just 93 octane fuel, your everyday tune would need to be fairly conservative. The 3076 configured with the small A/R housing is not the ideal pumpgas turbo anyway. If you were to research just how much boost guys with this turbo/housing configuration are able to run on 93, I am willing to bet that as a rule of thumb they can't turn it up much past 23#, w/o really rolling back ignition timing.

I'd venture to guess that limited to 24 PSI,or less, with moderate timing you'll have a hard time surpassing the 410-420 WHP mark. Maybe your best bet is to take it to someone like Sean Ivey. It all depends on the tune. But still, 465 on 93 seems a bit optimistic.

Don't get me wrong. I like the 3076 as a midsize turbo upgrade. However, I'd only run it if I could feed the beast a constant diet of 110 octane fuel. If I wanted 465 WHP on 93, I would start my turbo search, a little bit north of the 30R series. As a minimum, I would look at the 3065, and maybe even the HTA 35.

Being that it's a IX, the Mivec head will give you better numbers than an VIII right off the bat. Aside from this, I fail to see how T.S. vs. single scroll housing will give higher peak power though, given the same A/R.
