Anyone running dry sump

I was watching Ultimate Factories last night, which showed the building of the ZO6, which runs a dry sump oil system. I was wondering how many of you track guys/girls are running dry sump on your car.

Seems like a good idea. Might not be too cost effective but, to each their own. I would say that this would be beneficial for a track car but, overkill for the daily driver.

Pros:
small improvement in HP
no oil sloshing around in the pan
cooler oil

Cons:
cost

I have searched for these on evo's with no luck. Are you thinking about doing this?

They did not make that claim from what I remember, but did mention that the chasis is all aluminum, and the fenders are carbon fiber. Also talked about how the weight was distributed throughout the car, which was very interesting.

Agree with dry sump being overkill on dd, but I wanted to see if the track guys are using it, and seeing the benefits. They showed a clip of how much the oil moves on hard turns to show the need for dry sump.

Dry sumps are not common on 4g63s, but they are available. Jim Russell Driving Schools uses a Evo IX powered chassis that has a dry sump system on their race cars. HKS has a dry sump system for the 4g63. Ralliart made dry sump pans for the 4g63 for awhile. I've got two of them sitting in my spares pile, still in the boxes. Buschur had a setup, which he sold awhile back. They can be found, if you're motivated.

the huge plus is no oil starvation
the other con is the placement and weight of all the sump components
