You also have to look at boost onset and where boost is at in reference to rpm between the two. I know I noticed a difference but then again I've never ran a ported stocker on my green. I also got the megan for less than one though. Hasn't cracked yet(knock on wood) but we cleaned it up a good amount and did some reinforcing before it went on. I think for a stock turbo car it's slightly more of an advantage running a ported stocker over a well designed tube header. Only ones I'd ever buy if I was actually spending more on it would be a full race used and I like the mynes just because they still have somewhat of a collector.

Not coated, if I remember correctly it wasn't ported either I don't think. I'd have to ask the owner.

So your butt dyno Vs. a real dyno... I know which one I would place my bet on.

revmoto, other than the Full Race the stock ported/coated manifold outperformed all others we tested. The Full Race made more power up top. Nothing I have tested has beaten the stock manifold under 5,000 or so RPM.
Yes but we know that we are gonna have to sacrifice a little spool to gain top end. I just got my hands on a mustang dyno so I am gonna do a before and after on one of my manifolds to my borla considering you don't think logs are accurate.

Mike, a.k.a. mwbmw, can either one of the two Mynes manifolds be ordered flanged, for a remote gate? If so, then which of the two is best suited to clearance a downward pointing VTA remote gate on an Evo?

The Full-Race option is the best manifold for any given application they cater too.

Scorke
This is a generalization; while Full Race is a well built manifold, they've not been tested superior for every manifold they make.

has anyone tried the ASPEC Ti manifold? IMO it looks like it will perform well...and its pretty lightweight...

razorlab, OK, that explains it, had it been ported..............I don't think you'd have seen any losses compared to that header anywhere in the curve.

revmoto, I must have missed something. Did I say anything about trusting or not trusting a log in this thread? Not that I do.

the ported stock one would be the best way to go. IMO.
