You cannot go wrong with the ported/coated stock manifold. It has made the numbers both at the dyno and on the track. Add to that, its 100% reliable.

I had a DC header on my car when I had my stock turbo setup. I must say, I think it contributed to the awesome power I was making on the stock turbo with just pump gas. I had one of the highest dyno numbers and one if not the highest pump gas trap speeds. I switched to the ported/coated stocker when I upgraded to the Green because my DC header had slight cracks in 3 different places. I still have the DC if anyone wants to buy it for cheap!

I'm in the market for an upgraded manifold (stock turbo for now) and based on what I've research it's widely understood that the Full-Race manifold makes the most power... Many comments about the price and with just a little bit of sacrifice on power you could have a ported stocker for less...

To me, I don't mind spending the extra money to have the best performing manifold but to each their own... I see people spending thousands of dollars on big heavy rims and aero stuff that do nothing to improve performance - in most cases they hurt performance but they like the look. The look and quality of the Full-Race manifold is something that other companies strive for and often copy, but never quite duplicate - The Full-Race manifold is pure sex in comparison to the look of the stocker!

my .02 Full-Race FTW!

+1. If you don't plan to upgrade beyond the green and max out your car with the green- the full-race manifold, ported IM and TB etc are all options to consider. Else, go ported stocker and be happy with it till you get a AMS turbonium kit!

Thanks - no immediate plans to go beyond that point... I already have a few toys that go real fast, trying to keep this a true daily driver

Ported stocker is pretty decent for the money. ~75% of tubular aftermarket headers have poor fitment of the pipes relative to the flange that meets the head & where the pipe converge @ the flange feeding the turbo.

You dont want to compromise these areas, especially feeding the turbo.

the oem pice is a really good reliable, stealthy unit when ported my reputable people.

I really donīt have any particular remote gate in mind yet. I know that the Tialīs are considered to be very good. It can be a smaller diameter, more compact unit. Iīll research the available options and get baack to you ASAP, thanks.
