scorke, no I do not take back my statement about polishing a turd. This is not a 3076 wheel, it is an HTA 3076 wheel.

Very nice work with the testing, That turbo is capable, that is for sure. When i saw the title i was like, uh oh, did i make a mistake buying the HTA 35!? Im convinced though that the HTA 35r on my 2.3 will be a dominating combo for street/strip.

About the the 3076 making more TQ than the 3065 comment, i will say that the 3076 is a better compressor/turbine wheel match which is probably why it makes good TQ numbers.

The Green was originally developed and tested on your RS wasn't it? How about the best Green graph from when you had it on your RS vs. the new turbo? That is probably about as close of comparison as we could ask for.

David said his RS has over 1000 dyno pulls. Its probably not as simple as point and click to find the Green testing he did 2 years ago. He could be in front of the dyno computer for days!!

So it is pointless and will only be deceiving. The green is about the same thing, I'd have to take the best green I ever did and compare it to this.

Why not? How about an overlay of Trevor's E85 evo green car (before he had magnum) and this graph, it would be a good comparison of a well setup green versus a well setup HTA3076. The green will almost always be used with a ported stocker and standard SS o2 housing. Or how about 9sec9/OKIX's car?

A stock motor with a set of cams and a Green vs. a fully built BR long block, huge cams and a 3076HTA is a good comparison???

BTW, I have this turbo back off my car now. I'd like to sell it. I will sell it for $250 off normal price since I have about 10 dyno runs on it. So here is the deal:

I also have a used cast manifold kit I can bolt this to, it would then use the FP turbine housing on it (it will have even faster spool up then). The manifold and 02 housing will be the only two actually used parts in the kit. The Tial 44 gate, dumptube, fan, oil feed and return lines will all be brand new. If anyone is interested I will sell that entire kit for $2,900 even, normally priced at $3395. If you are in the lower 48 states I will ship it for free too.

Thanks.

I think this is a pointless test. For one most people run pump gas or meth/alky with a 3076 not race gas. Also the main reason people run the 3076 b.c they don't want the lag and also they can run the stock block. But yet you decide to put this turbo on your car which is fully built with race gas how is this going to help someone with the goals of running pump gas and running the stock block which this turbo is made for. And another thing why wouldn't you compare this to a 3065 or a 3088 thats what people want to see!! I would never put down Buschur Racing but I think this is just a pointless graph show some real world testing like everyone wants to see. Like I said I am not bashing on BR or on Dave just show some real world results. Pump gas/stock block type of testing.

Wow. Just take the test for what it's worth. Do expect you BR to swap a stock-block in so he post the results? I think people can make their own decisions off this test as basis for whether or not it would be an approriate turbo for their application or not.
