Of course, you're effectively running the ignition at 1/2 speed of the factory setup at any given rpm - more charge time, better resolution.

I wonder about the 250mj setup and just what would be suitable for long term use on the street. I've always wondered since finding out that WRC cars use an ignition system just short of a MIG welder ( ) to ignite the fuel charge when laden with very heavy doses of H2O injection - enough to snuff out a factory setup. Anyway, because of this, they're able to run 40 psi boost on 93 octane fuel and generate stupid torque with those tiny turbos.

It will also be suitable for street use

Very Interested in this product! hooray, no more waste spark!

Not to let all the secrets out but we're very excited about the R & D here at Spark Tech. We're playing with a J & S knock sensor system and once it's past the testing stages we'll offer this as an option This thing is great...it will allow you to retard individual cylinders according to knock count. With as much money as it cost to replace a blown engine or damaged piston, I think this would be a small price to pay for a little insurance against engine failure.

I don't know if those 300m coils are going to hold up with that cdi box, what about using the single outlet coils #coI005 on m&w's site.

I have talked it over with M & W directly and although they are not optimal they should hold. I think because it's a drag car and it won't be cruzing around for hrs should help. We want to retain coil on plug and will be offering this kit with a coil on plug that will be more efficient at the job

What is it that tells you they won't hold? Can you have a look at the MoTeC CDI8 box and see if you think they will work with that please?

Your obviously doing the right things and your on the right path that car hauls a@@
I told Ivan he doesn't need all that. Just a bad *** NiSmO grounding cable setup should do the trick!
