The features that apealed to George on this car was

#1 - The 100% Buschur involvement in the build up of the car. Simply put Buschur is the best in building this kind of machine. The Buschur combination of form and function, the eye for efficiency of design is unmatched in this business. We are huge fans of Buschur Racing and could not resist the chance to aquire one of the best Buschur built Evos to date.

#2 - The car was 100% built and ready to go - no down time before the season.

#3 - There is no other reliable / functional true street driver vehicle which can out perform this Bad Bish machine in all around performance, meaning road race, auto cross and drag racing. Its the ultimate street machine.

Its already tuned, and then some by Master Buschur. I / (we) / are not going to touch the car until it gets to the track. There is nothing to change / adjust what so ever.

Just for kicks if we find the time I would like to take my entire engine/turbo set up and install it in the Bad Bish for a 8 second attempt.

Right now the clutch is slipping and we will have to send it to Tilton for service. That will take about 10 days turn around.

Otherwise, I think George's main goal is to just have a fully Buschur built Evo in his garage. No one does it like Buschur.

Its kind of like having a Jesse James chopper, a Foose hot rod or a Shelby Cobra. You just want it for the art, for the legend, and for the satisfaction of having something built by the best.

Trust me we see dozens of "built" evos come though every week. There is something about a fully built Buschur Evo which sets it apart from the rest. Its about more than the sum of the parts list.

Hopefully, when we take it to the DSM shootout we can have Masters David and Dan sign the car for us.

Al

Oh - I get it.

I will be working on the IX later this evening after I send some family time this afternoon.

It will be interesting to see what gains of any are realized with the HTA 67

Peter, congratulations on getting a price that convinced you to sell the car, and finding a buyer that would appreciate the parts, money and time that went into a unique build. I hope you don't get seller's remorse down the road.

Best of luck on deciding what to do with your extra time.

Car should be left untouched. When a cars setup reaches a level of perfection it becomes difficult if not impossible to improve on. Thinking you will make it better will likely be a large learning lesson for you. Look at curt browns old car. It was at a level of perfection when sold. The guy who bought it thought he would make it faster. It took him 1.5 years to match curts time at the track. And he was at it all the time.

Shame Pete sold the car. I was really hoping he would follow through in bringing down to florida. I would have loved to race him in my definition of true street car.
