Bad Bish Is Sold!!
Car should be left untouched. When a cars setup reaches a level of perfection it becomes difficult if not impossible to improve on. Thinking you will make it better will likely be a large learning lesson for you. Look at curt browns old car. It was at a level of perfection when sold. The guy who bought it thought he would make it faster. It took him 1.5 years to match curts time at the track. And he was at it all the time.
Shame Pete sold the car. I was really hoping he would follow through in bringing down to florida. I would have loved to race him in my definition of true street car.

George has a lot of cars so this will be just another in a huge stable of machines.
To me the # 1 goal is to get the clutch serviced and then get it to the track without delay.
I will certainly be lobbying very hard to get George to try and get that car to run 9's on pump gas.
What happens in the future is really unkown. One thing to keep in mind is that literally every thing I do on my own Dyno Flash Evo 8 race car is discussed with and reviewed with Master Buschur before its done. I am sure the same tradition will carry forth with this machine.
Remember that I am a Buschur Racing authorized dealer and sell only Buschur parts. We work on Buschur Powered Evos on a near daily basis.

Peter, congratulations on getting a price that convinced you to sell the car, and finding a buyer that would appreciate the parts, money and time that went into a unique build. I hope you don't get seller's remorse down the road.
Best of luck on deciding what to do with your extra time.

I am honered to be a big part of EVO history for all of us, and building/owning one of the greatest street driven EVO's in the process.
Wow are you serious Pete? Your worked so hard for the car and dumped a ton of money to just turn around and sell? The only way I would of sold a car like that is if they gave me enough money to cover every last penny i bought for and the whole car with...
Its sad because I really wanted to take a ride in that beast... Im heartbroken that we lost one of the fastest in NY...

Only issue is a sliping clutch
I would like to see the car painted one color and with a full interior - but my thoughts are not relevant
Its George's call

Wow Pete, I just spoke to you on friday night, and you weren't kidding about our whole convo!
I wish ya the best of luck. I'm sure you will still be out on the streets sooner than later, and I will definitely be giving ya a call when I come out to LI to go chill at the usual spots!

I know Pete has too much class to answer crcrains post so I will. In 1054 posts what have you done, developed, contributed, or promoted for the community? In two words... nothing positive. I know there is alot of internet bickering between shops, but I can tell you one thing Pete is well liked and respected by all the real players and owners of those companies for what he has done with his car and the professional way he has conducted himself on the forums. It has been an honor to work with Pete on the few projects we did together. He gave complete feedback good or bad in an open and honest way. I look forward to working with Buschur Racing, Big Al, and all at ICS on future projects with this car. This car has done much behind the scenes for the HTA35R turbo and is a major contributor to the pump gas revolution. With the David Buschur built engine this car has been reliable for thousands of miles and still has the cranking compression and power it started life with. A true sign of a great engine builder. I for one am thankfull he invested the time, money and energy to do this correctly. The result is a blueprint in motion, so many can benefit from his build. Pete my door is always open to whatever you do from this point out. The offer to come out to the Indy 500, Brickyard 400 or the new GP motorcycle race is always open, nothing better than seeing it in person and from the suites. Your Friend, Jim ... and yes crcrain this IS a big part of Evo, and EvoM history this is the mark which many will be shooting for.
