Bad Bish Is Sold!!
I simply was stating I don't think this car is "a big part of Evo history".
CALM DOWN.
And IndyEvo... I don't work in motorsports or make a living off the Evo community. I'm just an enthusiast. Am I not allowed to be here because I'm not producing parts and making money off members? I've been a member since 2002, if you actually looked at my posts, they are not negative. The fact you, a presumably grown man attacks me likes this, because of my remark to U2SLO, I find to be pretty incredible.
Sensitivity level around here needs to be turned way down.
I know Pete has too much class to answer crcrains post so I will. In 1054 posts what have you done, developed, or promoted for the community? In two words... nothing positive. I know there is alot of internet bickering between shops, but I can tell you one thing Pete is well liked and respected by all the real players and owners of those companies for what he has done with his car and the professional way he has conducted himself on the forums. It has been an honor to work with Pete on the few projects we did together. He gave complete feedback good or bad in an open and honest way. I look forward to working with Buschur Racing, Big Al, and all at ICS on future projects with this car. This car has done much behind the scenes for the HTA35R turbo and is a major contributor to the pump gas revolution. With the David Buschur built engine this car has been reliable for thousands of miles and still has the cranking compression and power it started life with. A true sign of a great engine builder. I for one am thankfull he invested the time, money and energy to do this correctly. The result is a blueprint in motion, so many can benefit from his build. Pete my door is always open to whatever you do from this point out. The offer to come out to the Indy 500, Brickyard 400 or the new GP motorcycle race is always open, nothing better than seeing it in person and from the suites. Your Friend, Jim ... and yes crcrain this IS a big part of Evo, and EvoM history this is the mark which many will be shooting for.
I agree that he is certainly a part of Evo history from my perspective.
Crcain, you should not complain about replies, when you intentionally "stir the pot". U2SLO sold a car that he worked on for a long time. Car builds of this caliber are uncommon, and take a lot of time. They become a big part of someone's life for a few years. The development of Bad Bish was closely followed by many on this board, because some of what was done was new and innovative at the time. While it may not have been "a big part of Evo history" compared to World Rally Championships, the Cyber Evo, etc. it has been probably the best known and followed build on EvoM, and shows a level of attention to detail that many others would like to emulate. It's also unique in that it was sold for a lot of money, when other highly modded Evos have sat for months on the for sale board with little interest in paying more than a basically stock Evo would bring. Peter had a lot of support for his opinion that his car was "a big part of Evo history" here in the EvoM community.
For you to jump into the thread with nothing more to say than "it is not" and a smirk face is easy to construe as disrespectful, for no good reason. The responses you got were to be expected. If you feel offended, next time you post, read it from the perspective of the rest of the EvoM world before you hit the "send" key.
Too bad that it got started, in my view, because it detracts from the thread itself, and Peter's change of ownership on a very well done vehicle. Good luck, Peter and enjoy the new car, George.

Lol. Lets not get carried away Al. It is a great street car and one hell of an evo but there are better street cars out there
what is wrong with you? i didnt say anything in there to hate and also nothing about anyone beating anyone?? your mine is in the wrong section.
Note:
Al, just because you (someone else car) beat me with one of the most respected cars on here does not mean anything. LOL that was one night. Should we recap what happen when i came down on race gas??
I wont because i want to keep this thread clean for the respect of ICS and Peter.

Back on topic. So will we finally see the badbish car on track? That is the only problem that I ever had with Pete's build. He never took that monster to the track. In three years, I think the car has seen 3 passes or so. None faster than 11's. To each his own though. Some people prefer to do it on the street I guess. Good luck Pete, I hope you replace her with something interesting.
