I drove that 35r evo last night and its angry...almost makes me want that setup for road racing, that's how good it spools...the twin wastegates are freaking loud...its tough to say where it spooled as I couldn't see while driving it...but its easy to drive even with that clutch with all its grinding noise...powerband is nuts and its freaking nutty spool when it hits...
two thumbs up geoff...we have to set me up soon but do you plan recirculating wastegates...his car is a bit loud hehehe

OP, i'm a big fan of TS myself. definitely seems like the future of aftermarket turbos so congrats on going down a road less traveled. but gosh, a full race kit and a vpro tune? that must have cost a very, very pretty penny.

I don't think the argument was ever if TS had a better feel or spooled quicker it was always the other side of the argument will you lose top end power in a maxed out application. The second issue was are the kits worth their premium price tag?

The preliminary results look great!! The community will have to wait and see someone turn one of these up to 40psi and see what they can really do and ifthere really is a restriction like many theorize.

is your boost low?
or are you just playing it safe?

I hope one day I can feel that power myself

For 23 psi I think thats great especially with stock head, mild cams.

Looks like a good setup.

actually i think boost was lower around 22psi...it was just tuned and its still getting fine tuned...its a pretty mean car and pulls crazy...not everyone wants a racegas tune on a car thats driven almost everyday...i need to get him to turn it up to 24-25 psi on pump

Quote: I see these results as potentially promising, but hardly proof. You still do not know if the a/r was changed to give the better response. I could pull up some of my own dyno graphs switching from 82 to a 63 and seeing the exact same 50hp gain at 4000rpm, with zero loss at 7500rpm. Your 440hp setup is hardly pushing either housing. When you are making 700hp on a open 35r and you swap in a TS 35r and dont see a power drop, then you can get excited.
Show me another 35R that hits 200 lb ft of torque at 3600 rpm. I've looked and couldn't find one.

Have you never seen one?

200 ft lbs at 3600 rpms really is outstanding?

I looked and the average was over 4000 rpm. Keep in mind that this car was on a Dynojet. Spool would be even better on a Mustang and on the road.
