Finally the hype has come reality, for all the people that have doubted the validity of twin scroll technology. I can say first hand that it has the ability to provide excellent low end torque/ horsepower for a turbo as large as a gt35r without sacrificing topend power. In addition transient response in btw shifts allows this turbo to spool up very quickly.
Big thanks to Geoff @ Full Race for providing an incredible turbo kit
Sean Ivey for the amazing Vpro tune, driveability is incredible!!!

Full Race t4 GT35r
HKS Vpro tune by Sean Ivey

I attached 2 graphs,
The first one is my pump gas tune
The second one shows the difference btw a regular 35r and the Full Race TS 35r
Notice the ~50 whp/~50 tq at lower rpms, top end mirrors the normal gt35r.

Hell yeah... I'm guessing this is the Turbonetics since it's t4? Also, do you have a plot of boost vs rpm to see where it's spooling? Those are great results - welcome to the small but growing TS family

I talked to Geoff today and he said that Sean had great results with the kit!!
Great numbers and the spool is crazy!!
Finally we can start to show what these turbo kits can do. I will continue to test the 30r with Alberto this weekend and we will have some real solid data to help people.
Great looking tune Sean and great numbers!!

Nice! Looks like you gained about 500rpm of spool and of course, the better response.
Can you tell us what A/R turbine housings you used for the old and new turbo?

FWIW those are almost exactly what I achieved with my 2.3 and 35R confirming that the spool gained from twin scroll equates to almost the same exact peak numbers as a 2.3 adds to that size a turbo.

Congrats! I'll be joing the twin scroll family myself. Revamping my setup. I'll post about it when the build gets closer to completion.

great to see you guys are so pleased with the results! cant wait till we can get some better cams in there and start to turn the boost up

its actually a T4 garrett twinscroll 35R. we can consistently get the twinscroll T4 GT35Rs from garrett, just no T3 twinscroll 35R.Originally Posted by Max Power

while the steady state spool is similar to your 2.3L/35R setup, the transients and on/off boost response are going to be a bit quicker for his 2.0LOriginally Posted by scorke

waiting on some new cams, then put some race gas in the tank (dont want to risk it on stock bottom end yet) and see what it does...Originally Posted by evovin

thanks for the info mitch, spool is insane with the twinscroll 30R and STOCK 2.0L BOTTOM END, unreal powerband...maybe people will stop doubting the power of FR twinscroll Originally Posted by Mitch@VividRacing

I see these results as potentially promising, but hardly proof. You still do not know if the a/r was changed to give the better response. I could pull up some of my own dyno graphs switching from 82 to a 63 and seeing the exact same 50hp gain at 4000rpm, with zero loss at 7500rpm. Your 440hp setup is hardly pushing either housing. When you are making 700hp on a open 35r and you swap in a TS 35r and dont see a power drop, then you can get excited.
